Universal Declaration of Human Rights Turns 70
The Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) is a milestone document, which underpins all international human rights laws and inspires us to continue to work to ensure all people can gain freedom, equality and dignity.

In 2018, the UDHR turns 70.

For this occasion, the UN System in Lebanon, kicked off a social media plan that will stretch until December, and which includes messages on the various rights the UN is advocating for in Lebanon under the UDHR articles.

The plan aims to promote an understanding of how the UDHR empowers us all and encourage further reflection on ways that each of us can stand for rights every day.

To know more about the UDHR, follow the hashtag #StandupForHumanRights #UDHR70 on social media.
